Bugs Bunny is a Looney Tunes star who occasionally appears in the Amblin/Warner Bros. cartoons. On Tiny Toon Adventures, he is a teacher at ACME Looniversity and mentor to Buster Bunny. On Animaniacs, he makes a few appearances. He is often seen on portraits around the Warner Bros. studio. In addition, a figurine of him is sometimes seen on a phone Yakko, Wakko, and Dot own.
In Video Review, he appears on the VHS cover of Bugsy, asking the viewers if they expected Warren Beatty to appear instead. He later joins in on the closing musical number. In The Warners 65th Anniversary Special, he is interviewed to recount his experiences with the Warners. Apparently, it was him who advised the Warners to get an agent.
In the 60’s period-piece Back in Style, Bugs is laid-off along with his Looney Tunes co-stars and animators. He expresses hope to Daffy Duck that they will star in a flavored-drink commercial soon, but Daffy runs off to Tex Avery, resulting in Bugs calling him an opportunist.
He was voiced by the late Greg Burson in the original Animaniacs.
