Christopher Columbus (born between 25 August and 31 October 1451, died 20 May 1506) was an Italian explorer and navigator who is known for his supposed ""discovery"" of the land that would later become the United States of America. He appears in the Animaniacs comic story "1492: The TRUE Story," and later serves as the main antagonist for the Animaniacs reboot cartoon "Christopher Columbusted." Columbus is voiced by Ken Marino in the Animaniacs reboot.
Appearance[]
In the Animaniacs comic, Noah is depicted with shaggy blonde hair, a green shirt and blue pants. When he debuts in the Animaniacs reboot, he looks far different. He wears a captain's hat and has shorter brown hair, with a tan shirt and brown vest.
Personality[]
In the comic series, Noah is depicted as being slightly cowardly and eccentric. He also desires to achieve fame for discovering a trade route to Asia. The explorer is also shown to have a violent side as he tries to attack the Warners for damaging his ship.
When he debuts in the reboot, he is shown in an even more derogatory light. He is shown to be a pompous, egotistical explorer who enjoys taking credit for something that isn't his. He also shows little regard for his crew, stowaways, and the native inhabitants of the land he "discovers." All he wants is fame and recognition, no matter what morally-questionable acts he commits. He also leaves the Warners stranded on island for the sharks.

Animaniacs (comic)[]
In the comic series, Noah is first seen being punished by his crew for months of a voyage that is going nowhere. The crew attempts to drown him for a lack of discoveries, but they bring him back aboard when he "discovers" the Warners. After a series of hijinks, the siblings help him find some land.
After he thanks the kids he goes to explore the "newly discovered" land, believing it to be a trade route to Asia. Dot questions if they should tell him the land is actually the United States, but Yakko dismisses this and claims that Columbus will find out soon enough.
Animaniacs (2020)[]
Columbus makes his first televised Animaniacs-related appearance in the episode "Christopher Columbusted." He frequently encounters Yakko, Wakko, and Dot Warner on his journey. To his anger, the siblings keep pointing out the flaws and inconsistencies of his journey's legend and question if he really deserves his own day. Columbus gradually loses his crew and at the end of the cartoon, sinks underwater with his final ship.
