Edward James Begley Jr. (born September 16, 1949) is an American actor and environmental activist. He is best known for his roles as Dr. Victor Ehrlich in St. Elsewhere (1982-1988), John "Stumpy" Pepys in This Is Spinal Tap (1984), Fred Stickley in Batman Forever (1995), Clifford Main in Better Call Saul (2015-2022), and various roles in the DC Animated Universe. He provided his talents for a role in Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain.
