Crew[]
- Written by Charles M. Howell IV, Earl Kress, Wendell Morris, and Tom Sheppard
- Directed by Nelson Recinos
Songs[]
- "Braino"
- "Underwear Head"
Trivia[]
- This segment, along with "How I Spent My Weekend," are the two segments of Pinky, Elmyra and The Brain to feature an animated title card where a character interacts with it (in this case- "Braino")
- This segment uses similar concepts to the Animaniacs cartoon "Cranial Crusader."
- Braino and his theme parodies the character of Zorro, as well as the 1957 action-adventure western series starring the character.
- Recurring Animaniacs franchise guest-star Michael McKean makes his only appearance for this series in this episode as a grocer, a robber, and a policeman.
- Janet Waldo of The Jetsons fame guest-stars in this episode as an old lady.
- In the ending remix, just as Pinky sings Braino's theme, the male chorus sings "They're Pinky, the Brain, and Underwear Head, Head, Head, Head, Head." followed by Elmyra shouting "Underwear Head!".
Title Card Stills[]
Production Notes[]
- This is:
- the final Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain episode.
- the final Animaniacs-related production from Wang Film Productions Co., Ltd.
- the final Animaniacs-related production to use hand-painted cel animation. Future productions in the franchise would use digital animation.
- the final television episode collaboration between Amblin Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television Animation, until the Animaniacs reboot in 2020.
- Counting dates between the premiere of the series finale of Pinky, Elmyra and The Brain and the premiere for the Animaniacs reboot, there would not be another new episode in the Animaniacs franchise for 21 years, 7 months and 10 days.
- On Hulu, the title of the episode mistakenly labeled The Mask of Braino as the Mask of Braino.
