Trivia
Two of the rules are hypocritical because two of the rules are "No shoes" and "No shirts", and Wakko is still wearing his shirt and Miss Flamiel is still wearing her shoes it could however simply be parodying the typical public restaurant code ("no shoes, no shirt, no service").
The full classroom rules list established by Miss Flamiel includes:
No talking, no popcorn, no guitar playing, no laughing, no lawnmowing, no squirming, no pickles, no gum chewing, no cooking, no drawing, no guts, no singing, no skydiving, no moving, no yawning, no ducks, no smiling, no swimming, no shirt, no shoes, no blah, blah, blah, blah, no rock and roll, no playing, no vermicelli, no juice, no TV watching, no visitors, no dogs allowed, no camping, no use, no salamanders, no running, no walking, no yelling, no raucousness, no hopping, no stopping, no parking, no fishing, no snorkels, no smoking, no rainchecks, no square dancing, no service and no no no no anything!
Of these, 22 were broken in the episode, and 14 were broken by Miss Flamiel herself.
After the "pop" quiz, the Warners do a parody of an early '90s Pepsi commercial which featured Ray Charles .
Goofs
Wakko’s lips appear blue when he’s about to lividly explode.

Trivia
First appearances of Sid the Squid and Beanie the Brain-Dead Bison, who were first mentioned by Slappy in Slappy Goes Walnuts . The two were voiced by the legendary comedy duo of Burns & Schreiber.
Slappy Squirrel is revealed to be 80 years old, as mentioned by Mary Hartless.
The Warners make a cameo running on the tables.
One of the headlines of the Hollywood Schmooze says, "Elvis Lives! Lives in Water Tower with Yakko, Wakko & Dot!"
This is the only cartoon where Frank Welker voices Walter Wolf . After this, he would be voiced by Jess Harnell . Both actors voiced him with a Yiddish accent.
Quotes
Slappy : [to Beanie] You remind me of a very young Betty Boop.
Slappy : I'm going into a coma! Uh-oh, too late, I'm in a coma!
Mary Hartless : Slappy, you just won an award! What are you going to do next?
Slappy : I'm going to... bed!
