Plot God hires Slappy as guardian of the Garden of Eden to keep the serpent from tempting Adam and Eve with apples from the Tree of Knowledge.
Crew Trivia This episode had the working title of "Slappy in the Garden of Eden."

This episode contains many Biblical references, specifically the Book of Genesis .
Ernie Anderson, the voice of ABC, returns as the narrator and does a play on his announcements for America's Funniest Home Videos .
Skippy doesn't appear in this episode, but Nathan Ruegger voices Baby Plucky.
After getting hit by a cannon, the serpent woozily says, "Colonel Mustard did it in the kitchen..." When he sees another cannon, he frighteningly says, "Or was it Miss Scarlett?" These are references to the board game "Clue" (known as "Cluedo" outside of North America).
The serpent's voice is a parody of British actor Terry-Thomas. Terry-Thomas also voiced the character of Sir Hiss in Disney's 1973 film version of Robin Hood . Crew Trivia Wakko says "How about a kiss?" to Bloski when he sits down. This action and Wakko's Scouse accent may reference a scene in the Beatles' film A Hard Day's Night, in which John Lennon says "Give us a kiss!" to a grouchy man on a crowded train.
As the plane is waiting to take off, a large sign says, "Runway Condition CROWED! (Isn't It?)"
A quote was used in the Animaniacs Talking Cube : "We like you. We have no taste, but we like you."
The airline's name, Air Pacific, is the name for a real-life airline based in Fiji. However, the airline renamed itself Fiji Airways in 2014.
