All You Need Is Narf/Pinky's Plan is the 6th episode of season 3 of the Pinky and the Brain spin-off series and the 31st episode overall. It originally aired on September 17, 1997. Both cartoons in this episode were animated by Rough Draft Studios, Inc.

All You Need Is Narf[]

All you need is narf title

It is the '60s and Pinky becomes a guru to gain sandalroot for the Brain's current plan. A run-in with the famous band The Feebles causes the whole plan to gradually derail.

  • Walter Concrete is a caricature of anchor Walter Cronkite.
  • Pinky's guru persona, The Great Mous-Arishi, is a parody of Indian yoga guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. The Maharishi served as a guru for many famous bands and celebrities, including The Beatles.

Allusions to The Beatles[]

  • When Pinky is listening to “I Am the Cheesebag” a silver hammer that says Dr. Maxwell can be seen. This is a parody of The Beatles song “Maxwell’s Silver Hammer”.
  • There are numerous references to The Beatles (British quartet) as well as other popular '60s bands.
  • The Feebles are obviously caricatures of The Beatles: Jim being John Lennon, Fred being Paul McCartney, Steve being George Harrison, and Bongo being Ringo Starr. This episode's title in particular is a play on "All You Need is Love."
  • This episode is also a reference to the band's retreat to India, with Pinky being a stand-in for Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
  • Yo-Yo Nono parodies John's new Asian wife Yoko Ono and her controversial primal singing style.
  • The song and film Yellow Submarine is mentioned by Pinky.
  • Among the celebrities attending Pinky's gathering, there are caricatures of The Beach Boys and Simon & Garfunkel among others.
  • The episode even ends with Bongo yelling "I have blisters on me fingers!", similar to Ringo at the end of "Helter Skelter".
  • Ironically, Jess Harnell voices Fred and not Bongo, considering his voice for Wakko Warner was based on Ringo.
  • The ending chorus is sung in a classic Beatles style ending with the "yeah yeah yeah yeah yeaaaah!" from "She Loves You."
