Pinky Suavo[]
Plot[]
Brain creates a “Personalitron” in attempt to enhance his personality so the public can like him more. However, Pinky winds up in the machine after things go awry and becomes Pinky... Suavo. Yeeeeess...
Crew[]
- Written By Wendell Morris and Tom Sheppard
- Directed By Mike Milo
Songs[]
Trivia[]
- The celebrity ingredients Brain utilized for the Personalitron are: The undiluted machismo of John Wayne, the dynamic sensuality of Valentino, and the sensitivity of actor's actor Tony Randall. Pinky also suggests that Brain to add the pure comedic genius of The Unknown Comic (to enhance the "wacky" side), which Brain later uses in a rush to restore the Suavo before his climactic television appearance.
- The "Pinky Suavo" song is a parody of "Rico Suave" by Gerado.
- The ending chorus is sung to the style of the "Pinky Suavo" song.
- Due to Pinky Suavo being portrayed as a suave, charismatic mouse, it became a joke within the Animaniacs fandom online in 2021 to classify him as a "Tumblr sexyman" (a term for "A male fictional character [often conventionally unattractive or non-human] with a particularly devoted fanbase on Tumblr.")[1] Requests to add him to the "Sexypedia Wiki" became overwhelmingly high, with some resorting to vandalism and trolling in support of his addition to the website. As a result of this, Pinky Suavo was added to the site's now-deleted "Forbidden Characters" page. In turn, this resulted in angry spam comments on that very article. Following the removal of the "Forbidden Characters" article, Pinky Suavo's article was restored in October 2022.
T.H.E.Y[]
Plot[]
Brain and Pinky bring their Brainania personas out of retirement to try to gain membership to a secretive World Leaders Club.
Crew[]
- Written By Wendell Morris and Tom Sheppard
- Directed By Mike Milo
Songs[]
- "Brainania Anthem" (instrumental only)
Trivia[]
- The comedy show Pinky and the world leaders watch is an obvious parody of The Three Stooges.
- The ending chorus plays instrumentally in this episode.
- Brain's "how many takes does it take to get to the center of your mind" quote to Pinky is a play on the Tootsie Pop advertising slogan. Pinky even responds "The world may never know!"
- Among the list of world leaders are Michael Jordan.
- When Brain asks Pinky if he is pondering what he is pondering, Pinky responds he prefers "Space Jelly." This is a joke on the Looney Tunes movie Space Jam.
