Colin talks of when Randy Beaman's brother ate pop rocks and drank a soda.
Trivia
In the original version of this cartoon, Colin is seen running outside with his hands on his crotch, clearly indicating that he has to go to the bathroom really bad. Subsequent releases use footage from Episode 8 in the marshmallow pillow story. The censored version is on the DVD, but the original version has occasionally been broadcast internationally (and supposedly seen in the U.S on Hub Network) and a workprint copy can be found here at 2:36 (as well as in the gallery below)
Colin's story is based on the urban legend where if you ate pop rocks and drank a soda at the same time, your head would explode after that.
The Brain steals Dr. Jekyll's strength-enhancing formula which changes him into a terrifying monster when angered. He plots to disable the Big Ben clock tower at tea time to permanently suspend tea time in order to take over the world.
This episode is a reference to Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
The Dr. Jekyll/My. Hyde character is the same model for the character used in the 1955 Bugs Bunny short Hyde and Hare and the 1960 Sylvester & Tweety short Hyde and Go Tweet, both directed by Friz Freleng.
The Warners make a cameo appearance in London, getting chased by Ralph.
The Big Ben bells tolling at the end segue into the Warners singing the ending chorus.
Meet Minerva
Animation by StarToons
Plot
Minerva Mink, causes all species of the male gender to do Tex Avery-style wild takes whenever they see her. In this cartoon, she attempts to avoid a hunting dog named Newt, who either wants to capture her or have her.
At one point, Newt says, "Oooh, baby, that's what I like!" This is a reference to the Big Bopper's song "Chantilly Lace". Later, Minerva says it when she sees her friend's (on the phone) cousin.
Yakko and Wakko make a cameo when they go to Minerva and say “Helloooo, nurse!” to her before Dot takes them away.
In the winter time, Colin, who is all bundled up, talks about Randy Beaman and his father picking up a female hitchhiker in Kansas and the ending is....kinda spooky. After he tells the story, Colin attempts to walk back to the door, but ends up landing in the snow on his side.
