Animation by Rough Draft
Plot[]
Brain takes a job as a teacher at a troubled school, Thaddeus Mumphries Memorial High School. His motivation is that the city is running a contest for teachers and the prize is the exact amount of money he needs for his latest plan to take over the world. Pinky, disguised as one of the students, convinces the other classmates to take Brain's studies seriously.

- "Pinkhead"
Trivia[]
- The title and plot of the episode is a parody of the 1995 film Dangerous Minds.
- This episode would mark the first instance in which the plan involves one of the mice becoming a public school teacher. The Animaniacs (2020) cartoon "Reichenbrain Falls" would have both mice become school teachers at "Malcolm in the Middle School" (whereas "Dangerous Brains" takes place at a high school). Brain even wears a brown hairpiece, brown pants, and black shoes for his teacher persona.
- A running-gag in this episode is Pinky, Brain, and various characters inquiring if one is "patronizing" them.
- Thaddeus Mumphries Memorial High School is named for a fictitious circus monkey who was famous for an act where children were invited to cover him in chocolate. He was also a highly regarded mathematician.
- Pinky’s alias Jergen Pinkhead, and the song that plays during his introduction, is a reference to the short-lived Kids’ WB! cartoon Waynehead.
- As of this episode, Pinky has a high-school diploma. Brain does not.
- This cartoon marks a rare instance where both Pinky and Brain shout "try to take over the world!" together at the end.
Goofs[]
- Pinky's tidbit about Entertainment Tonight's report of Larry Linville and Brian Doyle-Murray turning 63 on the same day is incorrect. Larry Linville was actually born on September 29, 1939 (59 years from 1998); while Brian Doyle-Murray was born on October 31, 1945 (53 years from 1998). Then again, this is Pinky stating this incorrect information.
- Principal Bruhn is given a toon hand with four fingers, but in the scene where he briefly takes away Brain's check, he has five fingers.
Soundtrack[]
- Animal Fair
- Symphony Number One in Cm, Movement 4 by Johannes Brahms
