Brain Food[]
Plot[]
The Brain engineers the perfect formula that can make any individual smarter if they consume it. In order to get it to more people, Brain puts it on a pizza, which he markets as "Wolfgang Brain's Pizzas of the World". With the help of celebrity endorsements, Brain opens a trendy Hollywood pizza Restaurant; "Planet Brain", so the formula can spread.
Crew[]
- Written by Bill Braunstein and Gordon Bressack
- Directed by Mike Milo
Trivia[]
- Actor Bruce Willis and his negatively-received singing career are spoofed in this cartoon through "Bryce Wallace". He performs a jazz version of the ending chorus at the very end of the episode.
- During the "Wolfgang Brain's Pizzas of the World" commercial, Luigi Denza's 1880 song "Funiculì, Funiculà" plays in the background. The song has since been the subject of "retroactive recognition" due to its inclusion in the video-game adaptation of the 2004 film Spider-Man 2, where it serves as a theme for the game's pizza delivery missions.
- Brain's restaurant "Planet Brain" is a parody of the Planet Hollywood chain of restaurants.
