Plot

The Warners come into conflict with a Hot Dog vendor. However, the siblings, specifically Dot, simply do not feel up to doing today's script, so they leave the cartoon abruptly.

Buttons in Ows

Plot

Mindy and Buttons star in a parody of the classic 1939 film The Wizard of Oz, where Button pursues Mindy into the Land of Oz, where Mindy in-turn is pursuing Toto. The three later have a run-in with a certain mouse duo.

• The Warners make a cameo appearance in Kansas rowing a boat in the cyclone. Wile E. Coyote in the Acme Bat-Man Suit from the cartoon Gee Whiz-z-z-z-z-z-z-z is also featured as a cameo.
• Pinky and the Brain also make cameos, with Brain playing the Wizard.

Plot

The Warners once again do not feel up to doing another script where they have to help a whiny Hercules with his trials. So Pinky and the Brain take over the cartoon in a plot to steal Zeus' lightning bolt to aid them in world domination.

• The title of the episode is a parody of the 1959 movie Hercules Unchained.
• Aristotle was previously seen in the episode "You Risk Your Life."
• Medusa is a caricature of comedian Joan Rivers.
• Zeus is a caricature of Orson Welles. Ironically, the Brain is also based on Welles.
  • Zeus's voice actor, Earl Boen, also voiced Santa Claus in the Pinky and The Brain spin-off episode "A Pinky and The Brain Christmas," as well as the Earth itself in "Say What, Earth."
• When Dot comes out of her clamshell, she ironically refers to herself as Aphro-Dottie, even though she doesn't like to be called that.
• A slightly-edited version of this cartoon also aired under the spin-off series through one of its alternate episode listings.
• On the Portuguese European dub, Zeus's voice actor, Pedro Pinheiro, also voiced Zeus from the Disney movie "Hercules"
