Plot

Due to a slip-up by the stork, the Hip Hippos receive their new "baby" in the form of the Brain, who thinks he is staying with the Rockefeller family. Brain wants their wealth to fund world domination, but instead endures a painful time with the Hippos. Ultimately, the stork returns and amends the slip-up, and Brain goes to stay with the real Rockefellers. Unfortunately, the rich couple is leaving for a while and leaves Brain in the care of their strict workers, one of them being Frau Hassenfeffer. Just before things could worsen, it turns out the entire cartoon was just a nightmare that Brain had. Or how much of it was a dream? As Pinky informs him that the Rockefeller baby has arrived in the lab...

• Rob Paulsen uses his Concord Condor voice from Tiny Toon Adventures to portray the stork.
• This is the final Hip Hippos cartoon.
• The doctor is the Little Man from the Draft Board from the cartoon Draftee Daffy.
• The stork who accidentally delivers the Brain to the Hip Hippos is the semi-recurring character of the Drunken Stork from Looney Tunes who appeared in such shorts as Stork Naked, Goo Goo Goliath and A Mouse Divided.

Trivia

• This marks the only time that Bernadette Peters voices a character other than Rita on Animaniacs. Here, she voices the Cheshire Cat. It does resemble Rita though.
• The Warners make a cameo appearance in Wonderland as they were being chased by Ralph.
• This is the final Buttons and Mindy cartoon.
• When falling down the rabbit hole, Mindy passes by such familiar items as the "lolly" from "Operation: Lollipop," the "clown car" from "The Mindy 500," and the "choo-choo" from "Whistle-Stop Mindy."
• Tweedledumb and Tweedledumber are caricatures of Harry Dunne (played by Jeff Daniels) and Lloyd Christmas (played by Jim Carrey), the main characters of Dumb and Dumber.

Plot

Ralph T. Guard gets married at the big building with the pointy thing on the top and the entire cast of Animaniacs is invited, but the bride is Chicken Boo. It turns out to be a dream from Ralph and his real wife eating too much chicken.

Trivia

• The gag credit is a jab at Kids' WB!'s "Big Kids Go First" schedule, the network's clumsy attempt to appeal to their older audiences. Action shows for "big kids" (Freakazoid!, Earthworm Jim, Superman: The Animated Series, and Road Rovers) aired earlier in the morning before moving onto more comedy-oriented shows (Waynehead, Pinky and the Brain, Animaniacs, and The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries). The schedule proved to be a disaster because it turned out that the "big kids" the action shows were aimed at preferred to sleep in on Saturday mornings, and is also attributed as the reason Freakazoid! and Earthworm Jim were cancelled.
