Breaking the fourth wall is a comedy device that is used in animated shows which a character acknowledges the fact that they are a character in a movie or television show, and are actually aware of being such. When it comes to the Animaniacs franchise, the fourth wall has been pretty much shattered.

    • Two fourth wall breaks happen in Bumbie's Mom:

Later, when Mr Director said that the Warners are going to be in his movie, the Warners said, while looking at the camera, "Movie?", Mr Director wonders who they were looking at and Yakko responds, "The people watching on TV.", and Mr Director remarks, "Peoples, what peoples?
