In between each episode, there are mini-segments in which Brain performs hypnosis on the viewers, including one at the end where he tells them to rewind the tape and keep watching it repeatedly.
The episode listing of this set inside the case splits Episode 36: Mice Don’t Dance/Brain Drained into two episodes in order to acheive a rounded "22"-numbered list. Within the set itself, the two segments are still part of the same half-hour.
The description on the back cover appears to be a jab at Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain by ignoring its existence while touting this box-set as the then-"final" Pinky and the Brain-oriented solo DVD box-set.
First new Animaniacs DVD to be released under Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's "Studio Distribution Services" (SDS) joint-distribution venture. The Warner Bros. Home Entertainment logo opening is kept intact on the discs themselves.
First Animaniacs reboot DVD where the cover-art correlates to Hulu's own cover-art for the season.
The Canadian age-rating for this DVD set has been shown to be "14A"; which recommends adult supervision for people below the age of 14. It is currently unknown if this is an error or not.
The "Hulu Presents" logo just before the theme song is replaced by a "Steven Spielberg Presents" logo. Additionally, the "A Hulu Original" logo before the intro and the "Hulu Originals" logo animation after the credits are removed completely. However, the "Distributed by Hulu, LLC" text under the copyright notice during the credits remains intact (as do jokes/references to the channel in episodes such as "My Super Sour Sixteen" and "Mouse Madness").
First and only Animaniacs reboot season digital release to occur in the same year it debuted on Hulu.
Shortest release gap between Hulu-digital release at 4 months.

Trivia
Despite being produced in 4K HD, Warner Bros. currently releases the Animaniacs reboot on 480p DVD discs rather than the Ultra HD Blu-ray or standard Blu-Ray formats. This isn't Animaniacs-specific; as Warner Bros. releases most of their new TV shows predominantly on DVDs (particularly cartoons; most live-action WB shows usually have releases on higher-quality physical formats). The more-prominent use of DVD is presumably for budgetary reasons. As of 2023, there are no known Animaniacs reboot Ultra HD Blu-ray or standard Blu-Ray releases planned.
For unknown reasons, seasons 2 and 3 are missing from the Google Play Store.
