"I'm a Little Teapot" is a traditional children's rhyme by George Harold Sanders and Clarence Kelley, originally published in 1939 and described in 1941 as "the next inane novelty song to sweep the country."[1]

The song was performed by The Brain in the episode "Pavlov's Mice," as a conditioned pavlovian response to hearing a gong. Ironically, this episode takes place in 1904, thirty-five years before the song would be released.

Lyrics[]

I'm a little teapot, short and stout
This is my handle, this is my spout
When I get all steamed up, hear me shout
"Tip me over and pour me out!"
