Jam-A-Lot is a song that appears in Part 2 of the Animaniacs two-parter- Hooray for North Hollywood.

The song is a parody of both the musical Camelot and the film Space Jam. It is performed by a basketball star (Michael Jordan) and generic cartoon animals- all of whom are clearly bored and unenthusiastic about the musical number.

Description

Jam-A-Lot is revealed to be the film that Thaddeus Plotz selected to be the next Warner Bros. film over Yakko, Wakko, and Dot's film, Hooray for North Hollywood. Consequently, Jam-A-Lot becomes a humiliating failure for the studio.

Lyrics

Basketball Star:
Jam-A-Lot!
Jam-A-Lot!
I like to shoot the basketball!
Cartoon Animals:
Shoot the basketball
In Jam-A-Lot
Yes, in Jam-A-Lot…
Basketball Star:
The hero's really tall!
Cartoon Animals:
The hero’s really tall.

Trivia

  • Coincidentally, the actual Warner Bros. released an animated musical in 1998 titled Quest for Camelot, which also didn't fare well at the box office.
