"On the Home Front We're Marching Along" is a song from the Yakko, Wakko, and Dot segment "Of Course, You Know This Means Warners." During their 1940s propaganda film, the Warners perform at the USO as part of their assistance to the war effort, though they soon get distracted and perform a large dance number in which Wakko takes over the drumset and Dot attempts to dance with an attractive soldier.

It is a parody of the U.S. Field Artillery March, also called The Caisson Song.

Lyrics[]

Yakko, Wakko and Dot:
Over hill, over dale
Through the sleet, and slush, and hail
On the homefront, we're marching along
Yakko:
Give me junk
Wakko:
Give me scrap!
Dot:
Or we'll sit right in your lap
Yakko, Wakko and Dot:
On the homefront, we're marching along
For it's stuff we need
In this fight for victory
Uncle Sam sure needs it, are we wrong?
Soldiers:
No sir!
Yakko, Wakko and Dot:
With your help, we'll see
A stunning victory
From the homefront, we're marching along
