Sodarn Hinsane

Sodarn Hinsane is the dictator of Iraq and an antagonist in the Animaniacs series who only appeared in "Baghdad Cafe". He is a parody of Saddam Hussein and was voiced by Frank Welker.

History[]

Sodarn Hinsane was first seen getting his plans ready when Yakko, Wakko, and a confused Slappy Squirrel arrive in his palace in Iraq, thinking it's the Bagdad Cafe. Hinsane was treated by the Warner Bros into thinking he were their waiter. Crazy antics ensue such as a hole being made to reveal tanks, Wakko eating a piece of the map of Europe, and Yakko asking why Hinsane knows who he is. Eventually in the end, Slappy shoves dynamite down his pants to get rid of him.

Another caricature of Saddam Hussein later appeared in the Pinky and the Brain cartoon "T.H.E.Y."
