Steven Allan Spielberg (born December 18, 1946) is an Academy Award-winning American director and producer. Among his best-known works are Jaws, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, Jurassic Park, the Back of the Future trilogy, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Goonies, Gremlins, and the Indiana Jones film series.
In addition to his films, Spielberg is a producer of television series. During the 1990s, he produced a variety of animated series, the first of which was Tiny Toon Adventures. His work continued with the Animaniacs franchise and Freakazoid!. Spielberg is frequently mentioned and joked about throughout these productions. In most of his animated appearances, he is impersonated by Frank Welker (with the exception of "Jurassic Lark" where Andy Milder voices him).

- His most notable animated cameo appearance occurred in the Freakazoid! episode "The Freakazoid," where the titular hero argues with Wakko Warner and the Brain about who Steven favors the most. When they approach him at the Amblin headquarters, their argument proves to be in vain as he cannot recognize who any of them are.
