— The Petersons The Punishing Petersons are a super athletic couple who competed against the The Hip Hippos in Amazing Gladiators in the segment of the same name . They consist of Cannonball Peterson and the unnamed Mrs. Peterson .
Appearance [ ] When they first appear, they look to be the stereotypical suburban couple, with Mr. Peterson in a suit and holing a briefcase, and Mrs. Peterson in a pink apron and heels. They quickly flex out of that persona and show their real forms. Both have very well toned bodies, especially in their biceps and chest. Both wear tank tops, tight shorts, high raising socks, and tennis shoes, all of which is green and teal colored. By the end of the episode, however, they become overweight slobs. Whether or not this change is permanent is never clear.
Mr. Peterson has brown hair he ties into a ponytail.
Mrs. Peterson wears earrings and has short light-blonde hair.
Personality [ ] The Petersons are both highly competitive. They like to gloat and show-off to the audience, while also mocking their competition. More than once, their overconfidence slips and they seem threatened by their opponents.
