Theme Song (Extended)

Open1

Last line

Yakko, Wakko and Dot: Pinky and the Brain-y...

Trivia

  • An extended version of the theme is seen with an instrumental break and montage of clips from the show.
    • In the Animaniacs soundtrack, the line used in the extended intro was "While Bill Clinton plays the sax". In this episode, the line was the usual Kids' WB!-era "We pay tons of income tax!"
  • The Pinky and the Brain footage and verse return.

Wakko's 2-Note Song

Animation by Wang Film Production

82-1-Wakkos2NoteSong

Trivia

  • This is the third cartoon to be made in letterbox format, after "I'm Mad", "Variety Speak", and before the 4th segment of this episode.
  • This is probably a reference to C Jam blues by Duke Ellington, which starts with a 2-note piano solo.

Panama Canal

Animation by Wang

82-2-PanamaCanal

Plot

To the tune of "Erie Canal", Yakko sings all about riding his ship on the Panama Canal.

Trivia

  • This is the third segment to not feature any spoken dialogue.
  • Pinky and the Brain make a cameo in their submarine, referencing their spin-off's pilot episode, "Das Mouse."
  • Hello Nurse makes a cameo running a bagel shop called Panama Locks and Bagels.

Hello Nurse

Animation by Akom Film Production

82-3-HelloNrse

Plot

Trivia

  • Wakko sings that Hello Nurse has an IQ of 157, but in Wakko's Wish, she says that she has an IQ of 192.
  • Wakko sings that he is seven, but that could just be him trying rhyme "heaven." Tom Ruegger states that he's actually eleven years old; "eleven" had too many syllables to fit the beat of the song.
  • Dot only appears at the very beginning when she asks a mirror "Who is the fairest to one of all?" before Yakko and Wakko pop in and say "Helloooo, Nurse!", enraging her right before the song starts.
    • The bedroom that Dot is in resembles Katie Kaboom's bedroom seen in the intro
  • At the very end the closing iris was in shape of a heart, causing the screen to go black. In the second sing-along tape Mostly in Toon, the heart iris transitions to the third and final part of All the Words in the English Language.

The Ballad of Magellan

Animation by Wang

82-4-TheBalladOfMagellan

Plot

To the tune of "Git Along, Little Dogies," Yakko and his siblings harmonize about the famous Portuguese explorer, Magellan and his failed search for the East Indies.
