The Warner Bros. Studio Store was a chain of Warner Bros.-themed stores which operated in the U.S from 1991-2001. The flagship locations were considered to be in New York City, having multiple locations in 5th Avenue, the World Trade Center, and Times Square. Additional locations were also open in other states and countries as well.
Being a popular Warner Bros. brand, Animaniacs had a prominent presence at the store. The Warners, Pinky, and The Brain were some of the many characters who were present on the store’s mural illustration (which was also sold as a jigsaw puzzle and a poster). Promo artwork of the Warners also adorned the windows of the 5th Avenue location in 1995. [1] [2]
In addition, multiple pieces of Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain merchandise was sold here. Sometimes, even production art from the shows such as cels or storyboards were sold as well.
